Q: What is Kaptured AI?

Kaptured AI creates studio-quality photos and short videos of your products on AI models, without a photoshoot. You upload photos of a product, choose a model, background and pose, and the AI Photo Studio generates the image. You can then edit it, turn it into a video, or download it with your logo.

Q: What kinds of products does it work with?

Clothing, jewelry and other products (furniture, food, electronics and more). Set your type under Shop Settings → Shop Category; the studio adapts its steps to it. See Shop Settings.

Q: What photos of my product do I need?

At least one photo marked Front, Side or Back. You can add up to 4 photos per product. More angles help the AI get the details right. See Product Photo Tips.

Q: How long does an image take?

Usually a minute or two. You can keep using the app while it works; you get a notification when it’s ready.

Q: How much does an image cost?

It depends on the image engine and resolution: from 12 credits for a v1 image at 1K up to 90 credits for a v2 or v3 image at 4K. See How Credits Work.

Q: Do unused credits roll over?

Plan credits refresh at the start of every month and don’t roll over. Top-up credits last 90 days. See How Credits Work.

Q: How long are my images kept?

30 days. Generated images and videos are deleted automatically 30 days after they are created. The Library shows a Deletes in N days badge in the last week. Download anything you want to keep. See Why Images Are Deleted After 30 Days.

Q: Can I use my own model’s face?

Yes, on paid plans. In Select Model, choose Upload Model Image and crop to the face. Tick Save for later to keep up to 10 faces. See Choosing a Model.

Q: Can I put my logo on the images?

Yes. Upload a logo in Shop Settings, choose the Logo Position, then pick Original Image with Logo or Enhanced Image with Logo when you download.

Q: Can I generate photos of my own customers wearing my products?

Yes, with Virtual Try-On on the Brand and Scale plans. See Styling Customers with Virtual Try-On.

Q: Do I need to write prompts?

No. You choose the model, background, pose, blur, lens and size with simple controls. If you want to tweak an image you can type the change, but you never have to.

Q: Who owns the images?

You do. You own the photos you create, and there’s no Kaptured watermark on them.

Q: Can I use Kaptured AI on my phone?

Yes. Open the app in your phone’s browser and add it to your home screen (on iPhone, Android or Windows). It then opens in one tap, like an app. Bulk Upload needs a desktop browser.

Q: Can I invite my team?

Each account is one shop with one login. If you need several people to work in the same shop, contact us.

Q: Can I use Kaptured AI from Claude?

Yes. Connect the Kaptured AI connector in Claude, and you can generate images and videos and browse your Library by chatting. See Connect Claude to Kaptured AI.
