The Select Background and Select Pose steps set the scene. Each has a library to browse, a way to save your own styles, and a Text tab to describe exactly what you want.

Backgrounds

Background is a step for clothing shops. (Jewelry shops use Templates; other products are placed in a setting that suits them.)
Select Background step with category chips, AI choice, upload tile, saved backgrounds and shade swatches

Select Background: categories (1), Let AI Choose a Background with its color menu (2), Upload Background Image (3) and the Text tab (4).

Browse

Pick a category (1): All, Studio, Outdoor, Festive or Indoor. Then click a backdrop. There are around 90, from “Grey studio” to outdoor streets and festive sets. Use the search button to find one by name. Let AI Choose a Background (2) has a color option too, such as White Studio, Black Studio, Warm Beige, Olive Green or Terracotta Pink, for a clean studio color that suits your product. Pick an exact shade with the swatches under the list.

Upload your own background

  1. Click Upload Background Image (3) and crop it in Crop Background Image.
  2. Tick Save for later to keep it. You can keep up to 10 saved backgrounds.
Tip: Use a photo of the empty scene. If there’s a person in it, you’ll see “For better results, remove the subject from the background image.”

My Styles

Add Your Own Background Style saves a background look you can reuse across products.

Text

Switch to the Text tab (4) and describe the scene under The background features, for example “Soft morning light in a minimalist studio”.

Poses

Select Pose step with view filters, pose thumbnails, Browse, My Styles and Text tabs and the Styling menu

Select Pose: the view filters (1), the My Styles tab (2) and the Styling menu (3).

Browse

Choose a category (All, Male, Female, Kids, Toddler) and a view (1): Front, Front-Side, Side, Back-Side, Back-Face or Back. Click a pose to select it. One pose is used per image.
If you pick a view you have no product photo for, the studio suggests adding one, for example a Back photo for a back pose. It’s worth doing: the AI can’t see a back it has never been shown.

My Styles

On the My Styles tab (2), click Add Your Own Pose Style, upload a reference photo of the pose you want, and click Use Pose Style. It’s saved for next time.

Text

Describe the pose in Pose Description, for example “Standing in slight contrapposto, left hand resting on the hip”.

Expression

On My Styles and Text, pick an expression: Neutral, Smiling or Laughing.

Styling

The Styling menu (3) has options that depend on the garment: for example Tucked out or Tucked in for a shirt, Pleated pallu or Floating pallu for a saree, or which finger a ring is worn on.

Favorites

Mark models, backgrounds, templates and styles as favorites and they move to the front of the list.
