# Kaptured AI Onboarding Guide

> Go from a new account to your first AI photoshoot in five steps.

Welcome to Kaptured AI! This guide takes you from a brand-new account to your first set of AI product photos. Each step links to a full article if you want more detail.

## Step 1: Create your account and verify your email

Open the app, choose the **Sign Up** tab, and enter your email and a password (at least 6 characters). We send you an email with the subject **Verify your Kaptured AI account**. Click the link in it, then sign in.

## Step 2: Activate your access

New accounts start with a short onboarding call. After you sign in you see **Unlock 20 Free Credits**: pick a time in the calendar, and we activate your workspace with 20 free credits.

## Step 3: Set up your shop

Go to **Shop Settings** and fill in:

* **Shop Name** (up to 14 characters)
* **Shop Logo**, used for the "with Logo" downloads
* **Shop Category**: **Apparel**, **Jewelry** or **Other Products**. This decides which steps the studio shows you, so set it first.

## Step 4: Add your first product

Go to **Products Management → Add New Products → Single Product**. Upload 1 to 4 photos of the product, give each photo a view (**Front**, **Side**, **Back** and so on), then fill in **Product Name**, **For** and **Category**.

<Tip>
  Clear, well-lit photos on a plain background give the best results. A **Front** photo is the most useful one to start with.

## Step 5: Generate your first photoshoot

Click **Generate Images** on the product card. The AI Photo Studio opens with your product already selected. Work through the steps at the top of the page:

Select Apparel → Select Model → Select Background → Select Pose → Select Accessories → Final Settings
```

Most steps have a **Let AI Choose** option, so you can skip anything you don't have an opinion on. In **Final Settings**, check the aspect ratio and image engine, then click the generate button and confirm. Your image appears under **Generations** within a couple of minutes, and you get a notification when it is ready.
