# Styling Customers with Virtual Try-On

> Generate images of a customer wearing your products, for many outfits in one click.

**Virtual Try-On** shows your customer wearing your products. Pick a customer, add the products you want them to try, and generate every outfit in one go. It's a great way to send a shopper personal looks before they visit, or to help them decide.

## Step 1: Open the customer

Go to **Style Customers** and click the customer. (New here? [Add a customer](/customers/adding-customers) first.)

## Step 2: Add products to try on

1. Under **Virtual Try-On**, click **Add product**.
2. In **Add products to Virtual Try-On**, tap products to add them (they turn green). Tap a green product to remove it. Use **Search products…** to find them by name, category or color.
3. Click **Done**.

You can add up to **30 products** per customer. The list is saved, so it's still there next time.

An amber badge warns you if a product is made for a different audience from the customer, for example a women's product on a male customer.

## Step 3: Choose how many images and which view

On each product card:

* **Images:** how many images of this outfit, from 1 to 10.
* **View chips** (Front, Side and so on): which product photo to use, when the product has several.
* Click the thumbnail to include or leave out a product in this run.

## Step 4: Choose the scene and shape

In the bar at the bottom:

* **Scene / background:** the default is a standing studio shot. Groups include Studio & Editorial, Wedding & Occasion (Mehndi, Sangeet and more), Outdoor & Nature, Urban & Street, Luxury & Event, Artistic, and plain-backdrop framings.
* **Aspect ratio:** **1:1** (default), **4:5**, **3:4**, **9:16** or **16:9**.

The bar shows the number of outfits and the total credits for the run.

## Step 5: Generate

1. Click **Generate N images**.
2. The **Generate images?** dialog shows how many credits it will use and how many you have. If you don't have enough it says how many more you need.
3. Click **Generate N images**.

Each card shows **Generating…**, then the results. When everything is done, click **Download all** for a ZIP of every image, or download them one by one.

If some fail you'll see "N done, M failed. Retry the failed ones." Click **Retry** on those cards.

## Q: How much does it cost?

The **Generate images?** dialog shows the cost per image and the total before anything is generated, for example "This will consume X credits (Y per image)".

## Q: Can I add an "AI generated" label?

Yes. Turn on **AI Generated Label** in [Shop Settings](/getting-started/platform-overview/shop-settings).

## Q: I refreshed the page and it says "Open this customer from the Customers list".

Click **Back to customers** and open the customer again.
